The Walton-Verona Community Food Pantry is a collaborative ministry of local churches, local organizations/businesses, and local individuals existing to:

  • To glorify God
  • To serve the Walton-Verona Community
  • To serve/grow relationships
  • To provide tangible assistance in circumstances of need
  • To provide intangible encouragement/connection to life skills both physical and spiritual

Typical clients include folks who have a short-term need of food/personal hygiene items. It may be lack of work, change in life circumstances, a short-term squeeze in resources, etc. that bring folks to utilize the pantry. We are Christ-based and serve others because of the love Christ has established in our lives.

The Food Pantry is located at 50 South Main Street, Walton (next to Walton Post Office).

Pantry hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

The Walton-Verona Community Food Pantry also sponsors (in partnership with the Cincinnati Freestore) Mobile Food Pantry Distributions throughout the year. The distributions happen on Saturday mornings and are designed for Boone County residents.

The Food Distributions for 2018 include: April 21, July 21, and October 20. The Food Distributions happen at the First Baptist Church Outreach Center (behind Boone County Library in Walton). Hours for Food Distributions: 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
